Future Coeur de Reine (which loosely translated means Heart of A Queen). Her name derives from her father’s french origins and the word Desir in his name, and the fact that Cornish Gem is by Rock King. She has some very big shoes to fill given the outstanding performance of her parentage…!
This breeding combines two Olympic performance bloodlines. Cornish Gem is by the sire of Olympic & CCI**** horses, Rock King, and is out of the Olympic shortlisted & multiple CCI**** mare Cornish Faer, by Ben Faerie. Desir du Chateau is 68% thoroughbred & Anglo-arab & is by the No.1 sire of showjumpers in the world, Quidam de Revel, out of a motherline that has produced over 30 International showjumpers in the first 4 generations. He sired the 2011 Young Horse Showjumping World Champion, Dax van’t d’Abdihoeve.
