Future Promise is classically bred for eventing. By the famous ‘Welton Crackerjack’ – a CCI**** horse himself, and sire of the winners of Burghley, Badminton and Kentucky Rolex CCI**** events, and out of an event bred thoroughbred mare. She has correct conformation and demonstrated her jumping ability from an early age!
Her half-sister ‘Future Illicit Affair‘ was unable to compete due to a pelvis injury as a weanling, but still went on the grade Head Stud Book with SHB(GB), and won the Novice Hunter Broodmare class in 2004 & was Champion Sporthorse Broodmare in 2005 at the prestigious National Hunter Show. Her first foal ‘Future Illusion‘ went through the card at the N.H.S. winning the Open Sporthorse Foal, Lightweight Hunter Foal, and finally capturing the Foal Championship, being awarded the coveted ‘Kadir Cup’ Trophy and later went on to be licensed as a stallion by the AES Studbook.
