Future Genie is a fantastic mare by the very good thoroughbred sire Andes xx, and out of Juswith Genoa, dam of the Olympic Individual Silver medallist and 3 times winner of the Rolex 4* event in the USA.
She has competed successfully up to CCI** level and would now make an exceptionally good junior horse, or school mistress as she is good in all 3 phases and is a very nice person to deal with on the ground with no vices or ‘issues’.

22/05/10 | Ms Jeanette Brakewell | Brigstock | CIC* | 18th | A phenomenal performance from Future Genie at her first ever 1* at only 6 yrs old. She delivered a 49.2 dressage (8th after dressage) and followed this with a clear cross country with just 6 time penalties. Unfortunately her inexperience round a technical International standard track showed a little and 3 poles resulted in her dropping to 18th. However from a class of over 50 starters all of which bar one were older and more experienced, it was an incredible result which we are delighted with. |
24/04/10 | Ms Jeanette Brakewell | Bradwall | BE Novice | 2nd | Double Clear! |
19/03/10 | Ms Jeanette Brakewell | Lincoln | BE 100 Open | 2nd | Double Clear – finishing on her dressage score! |
13/10/09 | Mr Brook Staples | Tweseldown | BE YOUNG HORSE CHAMPIONSHIPS | 11th |
She was leading after dressage, but 2 uncharacteristic poles in the showjumping and some time penalties cost her the win. She cruised round the xc clear and inside the time. |
21/09/09 | Mr Brook Stapes | Allerton Park | BE Novice | 1st | Double Clear at her first Novice event! |
06/09/09 | Mr Brook Stapes | Cleobury Mortimer | BE 100 | 2nd | Double Clear – finishing on her dressage score! She finished on the same score as the winning horse, but her time was 4 seconds faster and so the other horse was awarded the win for being closer to the optimum time. |
26/07/09 | Mr Brook Stapes | Carlton | BE 100 | 4th | Just 1.6 time penalities cost Future Genie the win! |
15/07/09 | Mr Brook Stapes | Upton House | BE 100 5YO | 2nd | Double Clear – finishing on her dressage score! Qualified for the British Eventing Young Horse Championships!! |
20/06/09 | Mr Brook Stapes | Catton Park | BE 100 5YO | 8th | Double Clear! |
26/04/09 | Mr Brook Stapes | Bradwall | BE 100 Open | 3rd | Double Clear! Brook built on last week’s success and stepped up the pace completing inside the time, to finish on her dressage score |
18/04/09 | Mr Brook Stapes | Eland Lodge | BE 100 | 6th | Double Clear! Brook paced Polly so she settled into a rhythm and she had 4.4 time penalties. Without those penalties she would have been 2nd! |
