About

Future Poetry’s breeding combines the speed & stamina of a proven classic distance race mare with the Grand Prix jumping skills & power of a Holstein stallion who possesses 3 lines of the legendary Thoroughbred Ladykiller in his direct pedigree & has already sired the Vice-Champion of the 2006 4 Year Old Future Event Horse League in Ireland and the 2006 4 Year Old Showjumping Champion of Ireland.

The mating philosophy looks like it has worked with this filly – she is already demonstrating a formidable gallop like her dam (see the photos!), but also jumped the 2ft high muck skip in the stable when only 2 days old! We were hoping that we would get the best attributes of both parents – a fantastic jump coupled with a quality gallop and fingers crossed we may have succeeded, time will tell.
